Its definitely cool. But why spend the money buy a factory bike with everything top of the line from Harley to change it all and make it even better? Not knocking anything this is a BA build. I'm just jealous... My bank account is not happy with me and I'm working on an 03.

That is a great question that I've been asked a lot over the years. It all started in 2000 with a 2001 CVO. I worked on that bike a little and it has continued since than. Yes starting with a stock, used or crashed bike would be less expensive. I like what the CVO offers granted I change a good portion. I enjoy the build process with trying to maintain the look of a CVO. I keep the color and graphics, just super size everything. My 2013 maintains the CVO look with a touch of hot rod.

I liked the uniqueness of this color myself. I'm so over busy busy graphics on bikes these days, lol thats just me and funnier yet is i'm a painter.

I'm kinda looking for a wrecked 2014-2015 CVO Road King that i can do a lay frame 23" on

The bigger question is why not?! IF you can, take it and put your spin on it, like most of us do with our "regular" bikes. Just like taking an old muscle car - you don't keep it stock, you put your touch on it. This is going to be a BAD ASS build, I'm following! Loved the '13, going to love watching the progress on this one.

Did you purchase a bolt kit or just different lengths and sizes?

I started with a kit, used their add on's than ordered individual bolts. Alloyboltz.com is where I get them with a few coming from McMaster Carr.
