    26" Front suspension?

Thinking about a 26" wheel for my 03 Electra glide.

Has anyone done it without air?

I currently have progressive monotubes up front lowered 2" can these be made to work on a 26" build?

    Lots with no air.

Yes, but 2" is going to limit travel

I don't have to be down 2" I can only go 1". I'm mostly wondering how the lowered monotubes would work with a bolt on 26.

No reason you should have any problems with mono tubes with a bolt on neck. The tubes go in the trees either way. Has nothing to do with the neck unless I'm missing something really obvious.

I was mostly wondering about the caps. The monotubes have a built in cap and it looks like the bolt on necks have extensions that replace the cap.

Right it's the caps. The thread pitch is 1/8-27 npt for the tubes.

MC Bagger bolt on 26" kit doesn't use any extension on the forks. I just installed the kit and I'm not running air, just have Progressive lowering springs on my 14 SGS

I did the Progressive monotubes because I have an 03 with the cartridge setup on one side.
