    2016 Harley Street Glide Special

Won't be a fast moving build but this is where I will keep everything.

Well finally went and got my new street glide special. I was picky and wanted to have the crushed ice pearl that isn't offered in the special so my dealer swapped the parts over for me and I am more than happy with the outcome.

Well installed some led glow the past few days. Also added the harley acc switches and the Aux light switch because I plan on adding those soon. My hids have been shipped and should be arriving tomorrow. Went the a kit from Morshimoto. On to pics

    Just the rear and center

Everything but front fender and forks.

    Engine bay added

    Finished up the led underglow

    Before switch was installed

New passing lamp switch for future passing lamps and new accessory switches

    Finally some decent pictures.

Got some new to me passing lamps and flat style blinker mounts. Also got another passing lamp mounting bracket because it was included in the sale. Have them temp wired up and they work nice. Not nearly as bright as the headlight since they are still halogen but that won't last long. Next is to buy some flat style turn signals with clear lens and leds.

Now the reason this is so different/special is that anywhere online and at dealership said that this would not work. I am going this style of passing lamp mount because I really like the flat turn signals. But with the new bikes and new style mount you cant run flat signals.

So instead of doing this that was the only option harley list for +14

I did this and can now run the flat style turn signal

Rode the bike tonight and man they are not aligned. Will get around to positioning them correctly soon but I am enjoying the look of them. Here are some pics with them on.

    Passing lamps and low beam

Small update. Haven't been doing much but ride when I can. I ended up ordering a Dirty Works rear air ride kit on black Friday. Got it in today and installed it. It looks great and performs great. I ended up with the premium billet shocks.
