    2011 FLHX - No longer just a bolt-on

Bought a new Street Glide this year, went to Sturgis and decided "stock" wasn't going to get it.

Working with Josh Bourassa at True Kustom, Inc. in Denver, the stretched bags and fender are (hopefully) almost ready to paint. Things should start coming together in the next few weeks.

It's not much to look at yet. So far I've installed the chrome lowers (Impress Chrome exchange), 10" PYO Monkey Bars, Arlen Ness 23" G3 rim and rotors, and the Arnott Aladdin air ride system.

A sinister raked fairing (purchased from chad263), 12 degree triple tree, FBI 3" Drop Seat kit, bags and fenders are all bolt-on. However, looking at some of the bikes on this site... I need to start planning for the frame-rake and a 26" soon!

Nothing wrong with a "Bolt-On Bagger" it's going to be sick either way.

    Keep us updated with pics!

Just curious... it looks like your wires are run on the outside of the bars, or was this just done for mock-up purposes?

Heh... yeah I was pretty excited to try them out. I was curious to see how tall the 10" bars were compared to stock. I haven't even cleaned the packing goop off yet. I'm wiring and installing longer cables today.
Interesting and potentially life threatening... I'm in!!!

    Its going to look great!

Everything we do to our bikes is bolt-on, so no worries. Its those personal touches we do to make them our own.
