OK...got a few updates since I haven't posted on this build thread in a while...

Had a heck of a time with the DBC fairing mounted to a stock inner. With all of the seams lined up, the fairing mount hooks were still at least 1/2" away from the fairing so if I mounted it all up, the fairing would not be supported by the hooks on the radio carrier. Since my dumb ass had everything painted already, I didn't want to try to trim down the inner wherever there was a clearance issue so I extended the fairing supports.

Not very professional, but after "fabbing" a couple of fairing hook extensions and a little bit of welding grinding and painting, the fairing is supported.

Wiring up the internal bars a few weeks ago and putting the inner back together. Gauges from gaugemods turned out nice.

Supertrapp exhaust on the right side. Had to chop down the pipe chamber a bit so the rear of the supertrapp would clear the rear axle when aired up. Jake took care of the welding and I had a little help from my boy getting it installed. Good to get him at least exposed to the kind of stuff you can do in your own garage

Great job on the exhaust and very cool getting your son in the garage. I can't get my girls interested in helping with wrenches, but the older one loves to ride.
