Been swamped with this project, not much time for updates, here's a few pics and some breif info on where we are now.
At this point we have about 11 days until the show, and I'm not certain we'll make it.
We arent bike builders, nor do we want to be, I thought it would be a good idea to "have some fun" and get this together in 5 weeks for a show.... kinda feel like an dumb ass for it now lol

5" risers with a set of drag bars I built

about 18 hr werk day, forgot to take the gas cap off the tank to weld on it..... BOOM.
Good thing is ebay had a tank for me, old tank grew about 7"!

bags and the start of the fender

bags welded and ground down, nice and flat, will be easy to paint

saddle bag brackets ready for bench welding

most of the parts getting ready for powder coat in satin black

wheeling the dirtybird front fender to get some flat spots out of the weld area, almost no filler needed after wheeling

framewerk for the front fairing and foam complete, ready to shape and begin glass werk

Some more updates, 6 days to go mostly have bodywerk, paint, reassembly left.
Hope we can make it, but if we miss the show we miss it, quality has to be priority number 1

    revamp on coil cover

floor boards done and ready for powder coat

    chin in progress pics

    fairing in progress shot

probably the last updates until the show, been hitting it hard, 16-18 hr days the last 2 weeks, and will probably be hitting it just as hard the next 6 days.
Have to be in the building Sat the 8th by 9am..... keep your fingers crossed for us!

There's a guy here in Milwaukee that has a custom bagger Harley that did something similar with the front fairing. It's gonna look sick when it's done!
