    XTHNG1's Bagger Build

After lurking around here for awhile I finally thought I'd put up the start of my bagger project. Give ya a little bike info first. It's a 2005 VTX 1300 with 21 inch front and 240 wide rear. I know some will say just leave the 240 alone and build another bike but I've always liked big butts. Got a roadglide fairing and a set of bags that I'm going to put on this winter. Anyway got to do a little mock up today.DSC00645.jpg
Might have to raise the back of the fairing up a little got to get the tank back on to see how they line up.

Thanks Guys. The biggest problem I see is going to be the rear fender, don't think anybody makes a bagger fender that will fit. Figuring on either extending the fender I have or cutting and pasting a bagger fender together.

Metric is there a build thread for the one you did ?
