OK, I did a little searching and I didn't find a build thread on this bike here. I know Vic Baggers is a member and they have posted about their other bikes but I didn't see much on this one, so I thought I would put together a thread to show their work and my new bike.

Some of you may know that I was either going to build my VTX 1800 into a bagger or buy one that suited my needs. Well, the last couple years it seemed I was working on my bike more than riding it, so I decided to buy one I could ride and that fit my style. While shopping around I came across this interesting Victory Vegas build. It is unique, clean and custom...all things I like. To me, this bike just looks clean and simple but the more you look at the work that has gone into the bike you can tell it's really not that simple.

Here is the what they started with; 2007 Victory Vegas

Then they went to work on the rear end. Using a Kingpin rear fender and some steel.

You can see the mock up on the front wheel and the bags about done. Just need the doors.

So I took delivery of the bike last Saturday. I haven't been able to ride it too much, maybe around 75 miles so far. First off, the bike looks better in person. The guys a Vic Baggers really did a great job. It rides very nice, very stable on the freeway. (something my VTX wasn't)

So far I am very happy with my purchase and I am ready to ride. I don't plan on doing much to the bike, but I would like to make it my own with a few small items.

Killer looking bike. I really admire the custom fab'd parts they did. So many (other than H-D) builds always use parts (like saddlebags and fender covers) off a Harley. The more Vic builds i see the cooler they seem to get.
Post more up of the finished bike!

I agree wholeheartedly. I was disappointed when the king of custom builders Arlen Ness used HD style bags on his Sturgis Vic build.

You have a fine build there by Vic Baggers! That bike is beautiful n I'm sure it's a blast to ride. Congrats!

I almost forgot to mention, the bike was intended to be run with or without the bags. I haven't taken them off yet but will post pics when I do.

There seems to be very little room, I can see where the headlight has rubbed the tire previously. I guess that could have happened during shipping though. Anyway, if I do a front fender I was thinking of a B'Cool FL Wrap. (can someone photoshop that on there for me?)

You are welcome. Oh, after seeing this in person I personally like it with no fender. That springer looks awesome by its self!

Had a new custom two up seat made by Danny Gray last week. This seat is very comfy:

Curious about this since it looks like the rear fender and bags are one piece? Any pics?

I am slowly making this bike my own. I decided to start with the turn signals and running lights, I like these much better:
